Sharing Bridges to a Better Future

Why is Happiness Important?

Happiness and Stress ContinuumIn the long-term, stoic coping kills us, so does suppression. A healthy response requires conscious decisions, which affect perception of the situation/experience in the personal mindscape involving deliberate tactical decisions that reappraise experiences in ways that support self-realization. Properly understood and applied, stress management skills provide individuals with exquisite emotional agility.

The skills are not difficult to master. The reason so few understand them is current cultures (unknowingly) steer us away from healthy responses to stress.
